This post made me feel old. I only know one song on that list and can really only identify one other artist.
But see, that's what I wrote it for! Go check them out and see if you like any of them :) Maybe I should add some linkage or videos.
And frankly I think it has nothing to do with age really, because a huge segment of young people would have no idea who most of that list was either. If it's not Top40 or played in clubs, how would they?
Sweet! Now I just have to implement Phase Two of my workout plan: Obtain MP3 player. (I think I can swipe my husband's...)
How lame does it make me that I don't know any of those?!!
Not lame. As I mentioned above, all but two of them are not Top40, not pop music. Alternative, indie, modern rock, whatever you call it.
Yeah, and MP3 player is like...ESSENTIAL to any workout plan.
I posted part of my running list a little while ago. I'm saying it- it is THE GREATEST mix ever-http://elzabelz.blogspot.com/2010/08/i-like-to-move-it-move-it.html
I think the tunes are a really important part of running. That. and getting up early in the monring b/c it is way too hot to do long runs after morning! Good luck. Also, Lululemon running skirts, the end.
Love it!! I so need some new songs on my MP3 player. I might just rip off this whole thing. You don't mind, do you? If I hear Single Ladies one more time I am going to scream.
C'mon...you gotta have Lacrae in there somewhere!! That'll make you beat your best time and smoke will be comin from your shoes girl! I'm just sayin...
