I'm not even advertisting and I get work hand over fist. It's kinda crazy. But I am experiencing a bit of the "if you get paid for it, it becomes less fun" syndrome. So I'm still limiting how much I shoot for pay. I met a girl at the marketing conference I went to last week and ended up doing some headshots for her this week. It's ALL about the networking. My cute business cards from Moo.com probably don't hurt either :)

Today I took both kids to the dentist for the first time. I had heard amazing things about this Moxie Moms partner called Kids Healthy Teeth, plus my pediatrician gave us coupons for a free exam there, so we decided to try it. Seriously, I never thought ANYONE would be as good with kids as the dentist I saw growing up, Dr. Felix. I remember my first dentist appt with him (I was four) clear as a bell. But THIS PLACE. BLEW him outta the water. Nathan was a bit more apprehensive than I figured he would be, and they were awesome with him. They have stuffed animals WITH TEETH. They let both my kids use all the cleaning tools on the stuffed snake's teeth, and explained everything they were going to do. The hygenist even had little songs to sing while she cleaned and inspected teeth. Alex LOVES to brush his teeth, but Nathan does not. I will gladly pay ANYTHING this place charges me (it was only $25 for Nathan's cleaning this visit) because they are so awesome. Each kid got a new toothbrush, paste, floss, a Dora book, a balloon, and a sticker.

Highly recommended. And no, they didn't pay me to tell you that.

A good pediatric dentist is worth their weight in gold! Isaac's second time at a dentist, ever, was to put a cap on a broke tooth last spring. I'm not sure how that could have gone well, but our dentist is very good.

Haha, I remember my dentist when I was a kid had a Kermit the Frog with a mouth full of teeth, and you could practice flossing and stuff on him. Also, I think he would squirt water out of his mouth!

Is your Dr. Felix in the Main Line area? If so, I think my husband used to see him, too!

Ahh, the red hair! She is such a doll.

That is great news about the dentist. Hopefully this will set them of for a lifetime of being more comfortable with getting their teeth checked.
