Last Saturday night after we spent all day working on the house Mike and I went on a date. It's been awhile since we've been out by ourselves. We dropped the kids off at my mom's house and headed to my favorite restaurant, PF Chang's. We spent much of the evening discussing our big adventure of selling our house, buying a new one and moving to Houston. I am so excited about the new house part of the deal.
I had two delicious cocktails as well as their famous chicken lettuce wraps and some kung pao chicken. Mike had Chang's spicy chicken. Everything was delicious. We passed on dessert but I can never skip the customary fortune cookies. As we opened them simultaneously, Mike laughed and mentioned that they never really tell you your fortune, they just give some very obvious piece of wisdom, such as "Be nice to everybody and smile a lot, it'll benefit you in life." Some stupid thing like that.
Mine read "You will move into a wonderful new home within the year."

I was going to say "Wow, what a weird coincidence," but then I thought, "What if the waiter heard your conversation, and pulled your cookies out of the 'New House' box?"
Uhhh...I don't think so.
So exciting the upcoming adventures in your life.
That is awesome.
If the fortune was that accurate, I would play the lotto numbers if they are on the back.
A date night that you didn't talk about the kids?
Wow, great fortune!
That's a good one!
