Making Me Chuckle

Curled Up

Five minutes AFTER the segment, poor Meredith Viera had to come on and apologize to the TV audience for Jane's slip-up. THAT made me chuckle.

I would argue that its only an ugly word because we let others make it into one. If I wanted to use it to describe my vagina, and I was using it in a loving way... then is it really ugly?

Eh...I tend to think we have a lot of unattractive words for the female genetalia. Although, the term "hoo-hoo" is okay!

I have to disagree with Meegs on this one...that's like saying the "N" word is only ugly because we let it be. Like black people can use the word to refer to each other and it's somehow less ugly in that sense. I don't think so. Besides the fact that it usually is used to refer to a person, not a part of her body.

RM - Hoo-hoo works for me :)

Ha ha! I read the news story, and I was wondering if that was the word she used. Jane's a little too old to care about what she says on public television, even if she was trying to explain that she didn't like using the word or whatever she was trying to explain.
