I have a pet peeve...well not so much a pet peeve as a frustration...which you may find odd. I can't seem to do a push-up correctly. We're talking military style, body straight, chest-to-the-floor push up. I can do what I think are push-ups, but my dear husband says they aren't because I stop about six inches off the floor before coming back up. He says my arms must not be strong enough or something, which irritates me because I have been building and building lots of upper body strength over the past year. The test, he says, is whether or not I can start lying on the floor and push my whole body up in one straight motion. I cannot. Can't even come close. What is UP with that?????
