If you're wondering why many of my blog posts look weird it's because I attempted to move from Blogger to Wordpress, but failed. It seems my blog is too BIG to import smoothly, so I am staying here for now!
Ok so you've been hearing me whine about my desire to lose some inches for awhile and it's probably pretty annoying. So I'm moving all that pent up frustration over to a new blog and treating it as a weight loss diary. I hate doing it because I don't like my food choices being scrutinized, but if it helps me eat better, so be it. I haven't started calculating calories, fat, or WW "points" yet, but I can always go back and do that later.
I haven't posted my actual weight yet either, but I may do that, just to keep track, if I get brave enough. Let's just say, I think the number on the scale is surprisingly high and does not really reflect how I look...but I could be fooling myself. My trainer always said the scale is not a good measure, especially when you are actively strength training and building muscle. She said to use the "jeans test", which is how you fit in your jeans. Jeans shrink in the wash, but as I mentioned yesterday, I can't fit a suit from a year ago, so that's a pretty good measure.
So if you are interested and want to help out, I encourage you to check it out and give me your advice. I'm not so into "whole foods", but I'm taking small steps to add fruits, veggies, and whole grains, while reducing refined sugar and flour and fat. If this kinda stuff is of no interest to you, don't bother reading it and I will soon be back to more amusing subjects.
